About our artisans

Our artists keep their homeland alive through the products they make.

Our products are made by Iraqis who were pushed out of Northern Iraq and who fear they may never get to go back home. While they wait, their employment options are limited in Jordan, their host country. Through a sponsoring organization, they have taken up handcraft that keeps their culture alive and shares a bit of Middle Eastern culture with us while they also trying to support their families. They use ingredients from Jordan to sew, press, carve, and embroider products.
